A child-friendly shabbat service. Each service runs from 4:30 to about 6 pm on Friday, and each time we offer a craft, a low-cost optional dinner (sign up in advance, or BYO picnic), blessings, songs, and a story told by Rabbi Irwin with great humor, warmth and audience participation.
Synagogue membership is not required for attendance.
We welcome folks of all ages to join us.

Join in for an engaging pre-Shabbat (5:45pm to 6:15pm) service designed especially for preschool children ages 0-5! This joyful, family-friendly gathering introduces little ones to the beauty and warmth of Shabbat through age-appropriate songs and stories. Parents, grandparents, siblings, and friends are all invited to share in this meaningful time. Come sing, play, and make lasting memories with us!

KIDdish is an introduction to Religious School for all Pre-K children ages 2-5 years old. This is a preschool class meeting on Sunday mornings where you can meet new friends and build budding Jewish relationships that can blossom for years to come.

During these classes there will be hands-on art activities, spirited movement & music, playground time, a special visit from our animal friends and fun Jewish learning. A field trip will be held at Art & Soul Music School in Santa Rosa. This program is open to the entire Jewish community.

We welcome ALL Jewish families.

PJ Library welcomes the incredible diversity of Jewish experience, serving families whether they have a lot of previous Jewish knowledge or very little, are religiously observant or not, and are made up of all Jewish members or a beautiful blend.

PJ Library’s stories spark conversations that inspire the whole family to explore and celebrate what they love about Jewish life.
​
The PJ Library experience grows along with kids. Our youngest subscribers from birth through age 8 get high-quality, age-appropriate picture books, and older readers ages 9–12 get to choose which middle-grade book they want us to send each month.

Jewish Family and Children’s Services exists to provide professional and volunteer services for the purposes of developing, restoring, and maintaining the competency of families and individuals of all ages.

Traditionally, Jewish Family and Children’s agencies carry a special responsibility within the Jewish community for reaching out to children, the aged, the alienated and the dependent, and for the resettlement and acculturation of refugees and immigrants.

Free healthcare for anyone in need.
Drawing on Jewish traditions of Tzedakah (charity) and tikkun olam (repairing the world) we offer free health care services to anyone in need, without regard to religion.

​Since 2001, the Jewish Community Free Clinic (JCFC) has been providing completely free medical care to anyone in need, regardless of any discriminating factors. From our first days in a one room club-house to our fully equipped medical offices that we occupy today, the JCFC offers services to anyone in need who finds themselves without health coverage
